Annija Adamsone is a concert and opera soprano. Her recent performances include:
Orff’s Carmina Burana in Elbphilharmonie Hamburg,
role debut as Olympia at the Latvian National Opera,
Mozart-program with organ in Riga Dome Cathedral,
Brahms' Requiem in Liederhalle Stuttgart,
Orff's Carmina Burana in Liederhalle Stuttgart, as well as
Dvořák's Stabat Mater in St Michael's Church, Luxembourg and
Fauré Requiem in Staatstheater Stuttgart.
Adamsone has graduated the Opera School of the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart with Master's degree. She is the winner of Peteris Plakidis Prize and was the DAAD scholarship holder. Annija was recently nominated for the Latvian Public Media Annual Award "Kilograms kultūras 2024".
